The Internship program gives students from all over the globe, the opportunity to learn new skills and participate in highly challenging projects within the organization, contributing to their personal and professional growth. Interns will impact the world through areas including health care, research, design, marketing and fundraising. Through the program, they begin to build career paths by developing skills in their areas of interest, while receiving valuable feedback from experienced professionals.

Eligibility
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or PhD program
- Be proficient in English
- Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university/education records
- Be at least 16 years old
- Be available to engage in the program for a minimum of eight (8) weeks
- Be willing to disclose any circumstances that may present a potential conflict of interest related to the subject matter of the activity in which you will participate
Matching process
Once applications are received, JCWO staff will review them select those to be interviewed, decide whom to interview, facilitate an activity to determine each student’s skills and make arrangements with students to conduct the activity. Interviews will be conducted remotely and will be used to determine the activities of greatest benefit to the applicant based on his/her interests and abilities.
When the process has been completed, selected students will receive a contract and a confidentiality agreement. Students must sign and return these with their consent to handle the information provided with caution and discretion.
To apply for an internship, the applicant must upload their resume and interests to the opportunities section on our website. There will be a waiting period of a few weeks before JCWO staff make contact. This time will be used to verify the applicant’s data to ensure that it meets the organization’s standard requirements.
