Dr. Convit earned his Medical Degree from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. He pursued further training in General Surgery at Medstar Washington Hospital Center, followed by Plastic Surgery training at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. Specializing in breast cancer reconstruction within a multidisciplinary team at The Cancer Institute of Medstar Washington Hospital Center, he employed a holistic approach to patient care. Additionally, Dr. Convit addresses aesthetic concerns, enhancing the quality of life for his patients. For an extended period, Dr. Convit managed a multidisciplinary clinic dedicated to patients with spinal cord injuries and complex wounds at Medstar National Rehabilitation Hospital. He held leadership roles at the hospitals of his practice and serves on the Board of Directors of Medstar National Rehabilitation Hospital. Presently, Dr. Convit is a valuable member of the medical team at Affiliates in Plastic Surgery, a group of plastic surgeons covering the entire spectrum of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
