Internship

Gives students the opportunity to learn new skills and participate in highly challenging projects of the Organization that contribute to their personal and professional growth. Interns will impact the world through fields such as healthcare, research, design, marketing and fundraising, and begin to build their career path by developing skills in areas of interest and receiving valuable feedback from experienced professionals.

Eligibility

To be considered for an internship, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or PhD program
  • Be proficient in English
  • Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university/education records
  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Be available to engage in the program for a minimum of eight (8) weeks
  • Be willing to disclose any circumstances that may give rise to a potential conflict of interest related to the subject matter of the activity in which they will participate during their assignments.

Matching Process

Once the application is processed, the staff will review received applications, decide whom to interview, facilitate an activity to determine some of the student’s skills and make arrangements with the students to conduct this procedure.  Interviews will be conducted remotely and will be used to determine the activities of greatest benefit to the applicant based on his/her interests and abilities.

When the process has been successfully completed, a contract and a confidentiality agreement will be send, in which the student compromise to handle the information provided with caution and discretion.

Application

There are two ways to apply for an internship. The first is by uploading your resume and interests to the opportunities section on our website, and the second is by sending an email directly to contact@jacintoconvit.org. In both cases, there will be a waiting period of a few weeks before JCWO staff make contact. This time will be used to verify the applicant’s data to ensure that it meets the organization’s standard requirements.

To date, more than 40 students from different countries have been benefitted from this program
